Models of Young Adult Ministry
We believe young adult ministry needs to be fostered in several layers. Each layer offers different approaches and different fruits. While there are many ways to grow each layer, we focus on three main goals to enhance the ministry.
Diocesan Focused Ministry
We believe that the Diocese has an important role in fostering young adult ministry. Through their position, the Diocese can be connective in ways no parish can on its own.
Leadership Formation

Regional Focused Ministry
Planning for the wide casting net, regional ministry has a symbiotic and necessary relationship with Parish based ministry. If we are to evangelize as we should, then regional ministry is an entry point for a lot of young adults into discipleship.

Social Networking

Parish Focused Ministry
Parochial Identity is a problem for most young adults. Beyond regional ministry, young adults need a parish to root themselves in. The community offered with the sacraments and Priest shepherding them is irreplaceable.

Small Group Focused Ministry
Small groups continue the growth towards intimacy and deeper relationships. These connections aren’t focused on the greater group but person to person, allowing for vulnerability and growth.
